Downers Groove:
A formation of close friends, Downers Groove has been harvesting their sound and reputation since 2012. From their home base in Downers Grove, they have become well known for blending their influences into a collective, new sound. Heartfelt lyrics, catchy melodies, high-energy improvisation and a sense of humor weave together a seamless musical experience full of style only old-time friends can brew. Downers Groove is “well-versed in variety, with a live performance [style] that showcases their skill in onstage communication and intuitive improvisation” (The Daily Herald). Performing in Chicago since 2012 at such venues as Martyrs’, Reggie’s, The Cubby Bear, aliveOne, Bourbon on Division, and Phyllis’ Musical Inn, they have appeared at a number of music festivals including Homegrown Music and Arts Festival, Dunesville Music Festival, Grateful Bear Campout, Bridgeview Shakedown, Eyes to The Skies, and Summer Camp: On the Road Tour. The DG flame is catching fire and burning it's way around the Midwest circuit.
Broken Robots:
Broken Robots is a genre-blending band fusing alternative rock, indie, and electronic sounds with raw, emotionally charged lyrics. Known for their gritty, futuristic edge and introspective storytelling, the band explores themes of survival, identity, and transformation. Their brand new album, "the great American Struggle" dives even deeper—offering a powerful collection of tracks that capture the chaos, beauty, and resilience of the human experience.
Covington Groove:
Covington Groove is an on-the-rise Blues Rock Fusion Jam Band with a solid Funk Rock Rhythm section that grabs new fans wherever they play.
Lead by powerhouse guitar player Ben Bollero and the next big name behind the keys Samuel Wyatt, Covington brings you a sound that you won’t soon forget! Can’t put your finger on it, but you gotta grab a handful. Covington Groove is a new sound that pushes the envelope while giving a sense of nostalgia. Drawing from the influences of bands such as Gary Clark Jr., Dr. John, Lettuce, Jimi Hendrix, Umphrey’s McGee, At The Drive In, Bernhoft, Deep Purple & The Beatles; Covington Groove is the new sound.
Aaron Paul Williams
Entrepreneur, songwriter, performing & recording artist, producer, and festival promoter from Chicago IL who lives in both Chicago and Nashville TN. After graduating from Columbia College Chicago Aaron performed nationally, recorded original music in some of the country's most prestigious studios, and contributed original music/interviews to feature films, documentaries, and television. Founder of Local Nation Enterprises. Local Nation hosts multiple showcases and events elevating ORIGINAL musicians around the country including Chicago, Nashville, and New York. Local Nation also hosts the famous annual Homegrown Arts and Music Festival in Chicago's west suburb of Lisle.
